For the first time since 2019, The University of Texas at Dallas hosted the UT Dallas Awards Gala, recognizing distinguished alumni and supporters for accomplishments and support for the University as well as for commitment to service, learning, innovation and the success of future generations. The gala dinner was once again held at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center.
As the host venue for events large and small and formal to casual, the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center is the on-campus home for UT Dallas alumni, students, friends and supporters and well equipped to accommodate the needs of most any group seeking a contemporary event space.
UT Dallas honored nine alumni and a North Texas business leader during the 2022 Awards Gala at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center. The alumni center’s spacious facilities are ideal for high-profile events where an elegant, formal atmosphere matches the honor of the those being recognized. 
Videos featuring each of the honorees played on large screens flanking the starlit stage. 
The Awards Gala was held in the 5,785-square-foot Ann and Jack Graves Ballroom, which accommodates 400 to 700 guests. 
The Ann and Jack Graves Ballroom seats large groups, which for the 2022 Awards Gala included honorees and their families, as well as University leadership, employees, alumni and friends. 
Dinner entertainment was provided by a string quartet featuring UT Dallas students. 
2022 Awards Gala guests visited in Texas Instruments Inspiration Hall before the event. 
Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center staff ensured each detail of the Awards Gala was professionally managed long before the first guests arrived. 
Those details included an exquisitely prepared and presented dinner.
